The Christmas Fashion Show was, once again, a resounding success and raised almost £700 for our charities. Well done to everyone who helped in any way, but especially to our 6 models, Truly a fun evening for all concerned and with great bargains as well.

But a huge thank-you also goes to Max who co-ordinates the outfits and dresses the models and Janet, who works tirelessly all year round to collect the items for sale.
Our Christmas Concert was held on 16 December at Fairburn Community Centre.
Always a popular event, the evening’s audience was full to capacity.
There was a presentation of cheques to our nominated charities: Sherburn Visting Scheme and Candelighters Children’s Cancer Charity. £300 was also sent to Ty Gobaith to support 2 children’s Cancer Charities in Wales. £300 was donated throughout the year to Fairburn Primary School. Thanks were also given to Local-Eyes Magazine for their ongoing support.
On 19 December we were invited to sing at Carlton Towers at their annual CANDLELIT CHOIRS & JINGLES. This is a ticketed event which includes a glass of mulled wine to enjoy on arrival.
Opposite is a recording of our final compilation, The Twelve Songs of Christmas, which ends with The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.
