The Fairburn Singers

is a 40-strong SATB choir, which celebrated 25 years in 2015, singing an eclectic mix of secular and sacred music, including items as diverse as John Rutter’s ‘Feel The Spirit’, ‘It Don’t Mean a Thing’ and……. ‘One Voice’

Led and accompanied by remunerated professional musicians, the choir performs around eight concerts a year in a wide variety of venues, ranging from church halls to Selby Abbey and Wakefield Cathedral.

A number of social events are held throughout the year, including an annual dinner early in the year, summer BBQ and an annual Choir Trip (see Cruise News).

Rehearsal Day/Time: Every Monday 7.30pm-9.30pm (not during August)
